Spring Forest Qigong

Qigong techniques first began in China 5000 years ago. Research has proved that Qigong practice may effectively help people in the prevention and healing of many physical and mental disorders, especially chronic illness. Qigong deals with the cause of illness, not just the symptoms.

Spring Forest Qigong is an advanced form of Qigong that enhances the movement of Qi while also being very easy to learn and practice.

This class is taught by April Loop, RN, Spring Forest Qigong 4th Level Teacher and Practitioner, Reiki Master.

This class is taught every Thursday morning from 10:00 - 11:30am. Suggested Donation $10, however we will gratefully accept what ever amount you are able to contribute to the Center. Scholarships are available upon request.

Note From Spring Forest Class Participant:

Hello, my name is Emily Wieczorek and I am currently half way through my chemo treatments. I want to tell you about the Spring Forest Qigong class I am taking at the Mid-Valley Cancer Care Community.  I don’t know what I would do if it were not for the Qigong practice I am currently doing along with my treatments.

The Qigong has helped me in the following ways:

* Keep a positive outlook through this entire process
* Have a better relationship with my husband
* Be able to do something which is helping my physical healing
* Do something calming and relaxing for myself
* Know that Qigong works completely with conventional medicine

I know that this may seem like alot, but it has worked very well for me. The most important thing of all is that it has given me a way to be empowered in my healing and not just a passive recipient.

I would like to encourage you to try out Qigong for yourself. It is an ancient Chinese healing practice. There are optional, easy physical movements, but you can sit, or even lie down, and still get the benefits. April Loop, RN is the instructor and she explains everything you need to know to be successful. It is so simple and yet so powerful. I hope to see you at class!
